Our membership is our most important resource! NAATP exists to serve the membership and provide value and service that they cannot achieve on an individual basis.
Addiction treatment is best placed and best financed within mainstream healthcare. Therefore, NAATP seeks to develop alliances with other health care organizations so as to protect the integrity of addiction treatment.
Addiction treatment providers, as with other providers of health care, must be accountable for the services they provide. Therefore, NAATP and its members will engage in outcome and cost effectiveness studies, and subscribe to high ethical standards so as to be accountable for the financial resources invested in addiction treatment.
Effectiveness as providers depends on our being learning and sharing organizations.
National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers' members share in the responsibility of achieving our mission and realizing our vision.
To provide leadership and resources for addiction treatment providers toward excellence in the industry.
To provide leadership and advocacy toward clinical and administrative excellence for alcohol and drug addiction treatment services.
To achieve acceptance of quality alcohol/drug treatment as a necessary component of all health care delivery and payment systems.
To position NAATP as the information source and center for addiction treatment issues.
To provide public policy leadership and advocacy on behalf of persons with addictive disorders.
