Congresswoman Madeleine Dean and her son Harry Cunnane co-authoring of the book “Under Our Roof”, is a very personal account of their family’s journey to recovery. As the opioid crisis continues to propagate throughout our nation, their book teaches us about finding home amid tragedy and has been described as a ray of hope in the darkness. The two also co-authored another book “You Are Always Loved,” a children’s picture book aimed at reducing the stigma of substance use disorder within the household.
Mr. Cunnane currently serves as the Regional Vice President of Caron’s Greater Washington, D.C. region. While, Hon. Dean represents Pennsylvania's Fourth District and serves as Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee and serves on both the Financial Services Committee as well as the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee. Madeleine has championed progressive priorities like increasing funding for public education, combating addiction, expanding access to healthcare, ensuring equal rights for all, protecting the environment, addressing gun violence, promoting ethics in government, and more. She was elected co-chair of the Bipartisan Women’s Caucus.
