Sandstone Care is excited to announce our national partnership with LearnWell Education in an effort to further augment our academic and vocational services! Through this partnership Sandstone Care will now have certified teachers providing onsite education, life skills, and vocational support to our clients. Furthermore, our educators, along with LearnWell Education's team, will begin partnering with public and private school's across the greater Washington DC and Colorado regions to help students and families in need.
LearnWell Partnership Highlights:
- Certified Teacher onsite with significant experience to facilitate academic and vocational programming
- Ability to garner school credit for classes and course work completed at Sandstone Care
- Will collaborate closely with our adolescents' primary school to maximize school credit provided, stay on track with current school work requirements, and / or support grade recovery
- Plans to develop closer partnerships with public and private schools across the DMV and Colorado regions to support IEP needs
- LearnWell Education curriculum also includes a life skills and executive functioning development component
About Sandstone Care - Sandstone Care is an adolescent & young adult treatment program for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Sandstone Care offers a full continuum of care including Residential Extended Care, Day Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Programs for adolescents, ages 13-18 and young adults ages, 18-30. We take a systemic approach utilizing evidenced based practices and integrative care to treat not only the substance use or underlying mental health issues of an individual, but also provide academic and vocational support, required weekly family involvement, weekly community engagement, and nutritional evaluation and support for every individual in the program.
