(Santa Fe, NM) – SHE RECOVERS Foundation (SRF) and the global leader in online therapy service, BetterHelp.com, are now working together to increase access to affordable therapy for women in or seeking recovery. BetterHelp will open its network of licensed and accredited therapists to the SRF community at a discounted rate as well as make a charitable donation to SRF to support their programs and services.
SHE RECOVERS Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit charity with a growing community now engaging more than 325,000 women in or seeking recovery from substance use disorders, other behavioral health issues and/or life challenges. SHE RECOVERS stated purpose is to connect, support and empower women in or seeking recovery.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with BetterHelp so we can offer more accessible, individualized, therapeutic support anytime, anywhere,” said Susan Carter, SHE RECOVERS CEO/Executive Director. “We are grateful to be aligned with an organization that truly believes in a responsive and client-centered approach to recovery and that empowers its users to receive support in a way that best suits their lifestyle, needs and respective recovery pathways and patchworks.”
To deepen the engagement and support of the SHE RECOVERS community, BetterHelp’s Clinical Support Lead Haesue Jo appeared on the September 20 episode of SHE RECOVERS’ Mental Health Monday educational series. Jo led a conversation called “What is Trauma and How Can We Heal?” The webinar can be seen here.

“We are excited to partner with SHE RECOVERS to support the foundation's efforts. In addition to our $100,000 donation in support of the SHE RECOVERS mission, we are donating five free subscriptions to BetterHelp online therapy and offering all members of the SHE RECOVERS community 35% off their first month of therapy. We're excited to work together to publicize the great work SHE RECOVERS is doing and to continue our mission to make therapy more accessible,” said Jeff Williams, Senior Business Director of BetterHelp.
