Voorhees, NJ, – Celebrating 75 years, Maryville Addiction Treatment Center announced its transition to Maryville Integrated Care at a celebration event held at its Voorhees Administrative headquarters.
"Our new name reflects our dedication to a holistic treatment approach, ensuring that every aspect of an individual's well-being is addressed" noted Kendria McWilliams, chief executive officer at Maryville. "We are committed to providing the same trusted care while continuing to expand our services to meet the diverse needs of our community."
Integrated care is an approach that treats the whole person, addressing multiple needs simultaneously. Maryville combines substance use treatment, mental health care, medical services, and support systems to provide a holistic approach for each individual we serve.

About Maryville Integrated Care
Maryville was created in 1949 by a Roman Catholic priest, A. Bennett Conway, as a retreat for rehabilitating alcoholic men. With donated land in Williamstown, NJ, Maryville offered a supportive environment, where guests could be away from the daily requirements of life, to come together and work on themselves. What began as a single space grew into multiple buildings including cottages, a workshop, and a chapel, built by the “colony’s” own guests and volunteers from the community. Maryville became licensed as the first inpatient substance use treatment facility in the state. Since then, Maryville has continued to evolve to meet the needs of its vast community, expanding its services to comprehensively serve a variety of populations.
Celebrating 75 years, Maryville Integrated Care’s mission is to help individuals and families improve their health and wellness by providing high quality integrated mental health, physical health, and substance use treatment, recovery supports, and education. Serving over 7,500 individuals and families each year, Maryville offers a range of programs including inpatient detoxification, residential treatment, and community-based care through our Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) recognized, Community Based Health Clinics. Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, accredited by CARF International, and a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), Maryville is committed to helping clients achieve lasting health and wellness.
