The Lazarus Project of Knoxville
The Lazarus Project is a Tennessee Department of Correction certified residential substance abuse intervention facility providing three separate types of program services based on a social model: 1) a one-year intensive, residential recovery program, 2) a state certified transitional housing program and 3) independent living services targeting individuals with negative and/or substance abuse silos who encounter housing hardships. All three of our programs extend medical and behavioral health care coordination, employment linkage, psychosocial skills training, life skills training, physical health and education, nutrition, legal case management, and several other core curriculum subject areas pertinent to the success of anyone struggling with co-occurring disorders.
Our mission is to execute a social model of recovery using education and coaching to extend individuals struggling with addiction a hand up to rebuild healthy, prosperous lives.
