Sam Bierman is the Executive Director for Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. Sam started in the field as Counselor Assistant at Caron Renaissance, working his way up to Director of Operations for Caron Ocean Drive. As CEO of MARC & Innovo, Sam was responsible for overseeing the entire clinical and administrative operations of the organization. Sam’s clinical philosophies center around developing a strong therapeutic alliance between the clinician and client, as well as treating addiction as a family disease. Sam is a Certified Addiction Professional credentialed by the Florida Certification Board. He also serves on the membership committee of NAATP, the board of directors of local non-profits Phoenix Foundation of Maryland and Shalom Tikvah.
John Driscoll

John Driscoll is the CEO of Caron Treatment Center. With more than 30 years in the addiction treatment field, including more than 20 at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation where he served in roles ranging from counselor to Senior Vice President of Recovery Services. Prior to his time at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, John started and directed a long-term alcohol and drug treatment program for women and their children in the inner city of Chicago. Most recently, John served as a consultant working with Addiction Treatment Center Executives to improve the lives of the patients they serve, organize, and engage the employees that work for them and create an efficient and effective operating model. Well-regarded in the treatment sector, John is the former chair of NAATP and is the current chair of the NAATP Foundation of Recovery Science and Education (FoRSE) that monitors quality outcomes within the industry. In addition, he currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for St. Croix Regional Medical Center (now St. Croix Health) in Wisconsin.
David Gomel
CEO, Rosecrance Health Network

David Gomel is President and Chief Executive Officer of Rosecrance Health Network. He has more than 27 years in the behavioral health field with both clinical and administrative experience. As President/CEO, Dr. Gomel oversees operations in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin, a full spectrum of treatment services for substance use and mental health disorder. Beginning his career at Rosecrance in 1992, Dr. Gomel has extensive experience in the behavioral healthcare field, from entry level clinician to site administrator and COO, he has experience at all levels of operations. A committed leader, Dr. Gomel serves on a number of local, state and national behavioral health committees, nonprofit boards, and trade organizations. Dr. Gomel is an active member of the Rockford community, serving as past chair of the Rock River Valley YMCA, the Make a Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Kiwanis, leadership within the local schools and church, and many other charitable and athletic organizations. Dr. Gomel holds a doctorate of philosophy in public policy and administration with an emphasis in nonprofit administration, a master of science degree in health service administration.
Brittany Harris

Brittany began working at Cirque Lodge in 1999 and by 2008 was working as a member of the management team, overseeing different aspects of the functional operations side of our facilities. Over the next 12 years she continued in this capacity, working side by side with our then Executive Director. In 2020 she began overseeing the revenue side of the organization being chiefly responsible for admissions and marketing, as well as being intimately involved in the 80,000 square foot expansion of the studio location. She was named Executive Director in March 2022. Brittany is the mother of six children and besides her passion for her family and her field, she is deeply involved in volunteerism for the local school system and her church.
Dr. Greg Hobelmann

Dr. Greg Hobelmann currently serves as a Co-CEO of Ashley Addiction Treatment. In this role, he oversees the clinical, medical and nursing staff for both the inpatient and outpatient clinics, in addition to general operations. He previously worked as an interventional pain specialist as well as a staff psychiatrist after completing his psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins. He completed an anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins in 2006 and has a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His treatment interests include substance use disorder and chronic pain.

Charles Odell is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Dilworth Center. Dilworth Center is a private, non-profit organization providing substance use disorder treatment programs for adults, young adults and adolescents. Mr. Odell received a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is Master Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. Mr. Odell serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Jonnie McLeod Institute on Substance Abuse at UNC-Charlotte and is an Adjunct Instructor at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Cathy Palm

Cathy Palm has served as the Executive Director for Tully Hill Treatment & Recovery since 1996. Ms. Palm is one of 7 founding board members actively involved since 1989. Under her leadership, a 2.2 million dollar capital campaign raised 1.6 million dollars which enabled Tully Hill Corporation to purchase their current facilities on October 31, 2003. Ms.Palm is also a founding board member of the Tully Hill Foundation, which raises funds exclusively for the Tully Hill Corporation. Ms. Palm continues to provide leadership to meet the challenges of a dynamic healthcare marketplace. Ms. Palm currently serves on the NAATP Board of Directors, where she has served since 2000. She was elected Chair of the NAATP Board in May 2009 to 2011. She also serves on the NAATP PAC Board.
