In this NAATP Member Spotlight, we interview Sue Bright, Executive Director of New Directions For Women in Costa Mesa, CA.
Founded in 1977, New Directions is a Women's Only program that offers a full continuum of care from detox to outpatient care, in addition to providing on-site daycare to provide both the mother and child the opportunity to heal together.
In this interview, Sue talks about the extraordinary history of New Directions For Women (NDFW), the challenges they faced during the start of the COVID pandemic, and the benefits of modifying their annual fundraiser to a virtual event.
