President Trump to Declare National Emergency in Response to Opioid Crisis
The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers is pleased that President Trump recognizes the health crisis associated with the Opioid epidemic and has declared a National Emergency. We are pleased with this and the other recommendations submitted by the President’s Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis.
NAATP encourages the Trump Administration to implement the other recommendations from the Commission, many of which will assist with access to care for all substance use disorders.
