Workforce

NAATP is aware of critical issues our field currently faces with recruiting and retaining qualified staff, and how these challenges were amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic. NAATP is working with our Board, member CEOs, related associations, and staffing HR experts to develop additional resources our members can use as they work to maintain full operation, and recruit and retain staff to deliver lifesaving services. We created a Workforce committee will focus on creating solutions, collaborating with community partners, developing a more diverse workforce, and creating incentives and reimbursement programs. We will research resources and tools to advance workforce development nationally and on state levels and will post useful resources here in the resource library.
