Betsy Cox has been in the behavioral health field for 29 years. For the past 5 years, she has been affiliated with New Beginnings Adolescent Recovery Center and Seaside Healthcare. A graduate of Louisiana State University, she holds an MBA from the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Betsy resides in Jackson, Mississippi and is active in both her community and her church. She has served on numerous boards and committees throughout her career including Boys & Girls Club, Bayou and Central MS Councils of GSUSA, Family Tree, Council on Aging, Junior Leagues of Lafayette and Jackson, Acadiana Council on Addictions, NCADD of Central Mississippi, Society of St. Andrew, and is a founding member of HANDS (Helping Americans Needing Disaster Support).
